Commissioning!!
after 1 year of life as a trainee, i've finally gone through the ranks and emerged as 2LT ZHUANG WEILIANG on 1st OCT 2005!!
the feeling of being in the commissioning parade and tossing the peak cap in the end was quite an orgasmic experience.. sure OCS was 9 months of shit, but once you go the commissioning parade, all the shit becomes good shit and you'll suddenly think to yourself "it's all worth it"..
really glad that so many of the DK guys came to watch the commissioning parade although it was so far.. my parents actually took quite a lot of photos during the commissioning parade, but i kinda "left" my camera with eileen when i got totally wasted after the commissioning parade and they had to send me to the hotel along with a few of the other guys, haha!
photos will have to wait i guess... will post again over the weekend.. i thought everything would be more relaxed after i commissioned, but it turned out otherwise.. im freaking deprived from sleep until today since monday.. gotta hit the bed already...
ps:
for some of your guys who are cadets reading this, remember, no matter how tough training is, just push on, many have pushed through and you will be no exception.. just think of what's at the end of the race and trust me, it's worth it :)
