Review and Resolutions
i know it's a bit late for for this but well, it's not even a week into year yet, so what the hell..
lots of highs and lows for this year and so much has been happening that i don't really remember most of the things that actually happened except for a few memorable ones.
start of the year was a high when i found that i got into OCS after my BMT ended in December `04.. was still feeling bloody garang (gung-ho) when i was still in infantry.. until i made a wrong choice and put a tick on a column that says "Most preferred" on a piece of paper that asked for our preferrences on going to air force's ADA (air defence artillery).
things started turning shitty when i got in there, i was totally shellshocked by the culture in there.. as much as i liked going out to the fields for exercises and all, i was confined to the classrooms. i swear i studied more than i did in polytechnic. there's when my morale hit rock bottom..
luckily things got better when i actually started the phase in Air Force School (AFS), probably the fittest time of my life so far, being able to do 25 chin ups at one shot, still damn proud of it even though now i can only manage around 18 if i squeeze my balls hard enough.. haha
then there were lows where i suffered multiple injuries during my course time, i had like heel spurs on both feet, a calf problem that came up to my hamstring and a recurring knee problem.. i was so injured at that time that i was called "injury-prone man" by some of my coursemates.. it took me like almost 3 months and a risk of being sent out of course before i bounced back from everything (almost) and got commissioned which was an euphoric experience!
and of course, there was ultimate frisbee too.. how can i forget captaining DK and leading them for every training which proved nerved wrecking and mind numbing to a certain extend with some random group of people pulling stunts off every week during training.. haha.. i have to admit that it was quite frustrating and i even reached a point that i wanted to give up.. but i guess it's all good now. a new year and i hope everything will be fine as well..
and you might have noticed now that i pretty much don't have a life because everything i have done this year only involves either military stuff or ultimate frisbee.. but i guess that's the way i work, pure dedication.. wahaha!
have had quite a few shortcomings this year and i'll be looking to kick them away as the new year comes and of course, my new school term in NUS when august comes.
so here's what i thought i should be doing this year:

so here's what i thought i should be doing this year:
- Get out of the lazy shell that i've slowly and steadily withdrew into
- Be more organized
- Save lots of money
- Study really really hard when i start my school term (yeah right, haha)
- Get a life (??)
- Learn Salsa
like when my first point implies, im too lazy to list out everything, so i guess i'll add in on the way through the year.. haha..

life can seem so different when you think about it in different ways. this is a safe haven for my rants and raves about everything that is happening in my life.
this a reflection of my ego, no matter how big, small or even insignificant it might be. you were asking me what egomy stands for?
